MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- Axcel Photonics Inc., a provider of high power pump lasers for optical networks, today announced the appointments of Everett S. McGinley, PhD. as Chief Executive Officer and Evan C. Sanders as Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. Dr. McGinley, served most recently as the President of Bandwidth Semiconductor, and prior to that worked at Spire Corporation in general management and business development roles. At Bandwidth, Dr. McGinley built the entire organization, recruiting the optical engineering, manufacturing, and management teams. He managed the development of new business strategies focusing on Gig-E and Optical Networking components and was responsible for the development of three new products.
