TV.com Opens Up

4:30 PM -- Today on Contentinople:

  • CBS's TV.com, which was thrust into the spotlight last week during a spat with Hulu, is opening up its video to international users. The catch? Foreign audiences will only have access to Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, Star Trek, MacGyver, Love Boat, and CBS News programs such as 60 Minutes. No Gary Unmarried for you, Germany!

  • News Corp. stock is on the rise today after president and COO Peter Chernin announced he is leaving the company in June. Fox Interactive Media and other Fox businesses based in Los Angeles will then report directly to chairman Rupert Murdoch.

And in today's News Bits, Amazon's Kindle 2 ships, to some enthusiastic reviews.
