Completed interoperability testing between Tropic's TRX-24000 DWDM transport platform Gig-E interfaces and Broadbus's B-1TM VOD server

OTTAWA -- Tropic Networks Inc. and Broadbus Technologies Inc. have successfully completed interoperability testing between the Tropic Networks TRX-24000(TM) DWDM Transport Platform Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and the Broadbus B-1TM VOD server. The testing was conducted in the Broadbus Laboratory, where an end-to-end network is emulated from the master head-end, HFC network to the set-top box at the customer premises. Testing involved the initiating, playing, pausing, forwarding, rewinding and termination of VOD sessions.
