Time Warner, Comcast Team Up for TV Everywhere

Time Warner Inc. (NYSE: TWX)'s TV Everywhere initiative took its first big step toward becoming a viable distribution model for making cable programming available over broadband networks, with an initial test conducted by Comcast Corp. (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK).

The initial test will include on-demand programming from TBS and TNT, including shows like The Closer and Tyler Perry's House of Payne, but Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes says the company will add channels and shows as time goes on.
