Telus selects Openwave Mobility’s video optimization solution to deliver intelligent mobile data traffic management

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Openwave Mobility, a software innovator enabling operators to manage and monetize growth in mobile video and web traffic, today announced that TELUS, a leading national telecommunications company in Canada, has selected Openwave Mobility’s Media Optimizer, a video optimization solution that enables mobile operators to optimize web and video traffic while also managing congestion down to individual subscribers, thereby improving their video QoE.
