PLANO, Texas -- Customers can now Access the Future™ with Inteleflex® by leveraging their existing AFC cabinets. The new TelStrat® retrofit kits for the AFC 120 and 240 line remote cabinets provide customers with an extremely cost effective migration path to its Inteleflex Broadband Loop Carrier (BLC) platform.

The Inteleflex platform supports a full suite of advanced broadband services through an extensive set of features including distributed IGMP multicasting, Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and high speed optical transport.

TelStrat is offering two versions of the retrofit kit:

Both kits allow the Inteleflex BLC(s) to drop right into existing AFC cabinets without any additional outside plant upgrades. By avoiding forklift upgrades or add-on ‘barnacle’ solutions, customers can save thousands of dollars in expensive outside plant equipment.

An upgrade to TelStrat’s Inteleflex Broadband Loop Carrier allows carriers to support a 100% broadband service take rate from their existing AFC cabinets.

The retrofit kits expand the capacity of existing AFC 120 and 240 cabinets from 120 lines to 150 lines, and 240 lines to 288 lines respectively. In addition to increasing capacity in existing cabinets, TelStrat’s retrofit kits also increase usable rack space for future expansion.
