Tekelec sells advanced signaling solutions suite to Teléfonos de México

MORRISVILLE, N.C. -- Tekelec (NASDAQ: TKLC - News), a leading developer of telecommunications products for next-generation fixed, mobile, and packet networks, announced today that TELMEX has purchased a comprehensive suite of Tekelec advanced signaling solutions, including integrated business applications. Based in Mexico City, TELMEX is Latin America's telecommunications leader. The sale includes the EAGLE® 5 Signaling Application Systems with integrated monitoring fraud management, trunk optimization, quality of service, triggerless access screening, and network management capabilities.
