Telcordia Force is selected by Telmex to help keep pace with increased service demand

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Telcordia(R) Technologies Inc., a global provider of telecommunications software and services, and its product Telcordia(R) Force have been chosen by TELMEX to help with the evolving work center and workforce operation needs. Telcordia(R) Force is part of Telcordia's Elementive approach, a new generation of open, flexible, and configurable software products that help customers to easily integrate components in their current Operations Support System (OSS) infrastructure, thus maximizing existing assets to improve quality of service.

As the largest telecommunications provider in Latin America, TELMEX has seen in the 1Q2004, a 9.1 percent growth in the number of lines in service to a total of 16.1 million lines. To help keep pace with this growth and to handle the existing service order volumes, as well as the growing demand for phone service, Telcordia Force was selected as the flexible, integrated workforce management system that will contribute to meet market demands for availability and quality of service.
