HEVERLEE, Belgium -- Telindus, the leading network integrator and solution provider, today announced the appointment of Andy Zynga as its new Vice President of Business Development.

Andy will head Telindus’ Corporate Business Development Department, reinforcing the company’s long- term commitment to expanding its international business. The role is effective immediately, as of 1 October.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will see Andy focusing on driving services revenues, supporting the continued internationalization and integration of the Integrator, as well as overseeing marketing and communications.

Ronald Everaert, CEO Telindus, said: “We are delighted to welcome Andy as a key figure to instigate further growth of our footprint in Europe and of our service market share in particular. With his extensive international experience in telecommunication services, I am confident that this is the beginning of a mutually beneficial association.”

Andy moved to Telindus from Vanco, a UK-based Network Service Provider, where he was an Executive Director/Member of the Management Board for the past five years. He was responsible for the Benelux, Germany and North America regions, during which time he built the business profitably from under four per cent to almost 20 per cent of sales in a group that grew on average by over 40% annually overall.

Zynga outlines what attracted him in Telindus: "It is very obvious that over the past 35 years Telindus has built strong partnerships with its customers and suppliers, and is well positioned to build on those partnerships to greatly enhance its market position in world class network services. I am looking forward to contributing my experience to the innovative culture at Telindus and to work with its excellent people to take this company to the next level". Everaert added: “Andy's arrival underlines our dedication towards our Business Development concept on an international level. I am convinced that Andy will boost our activities in this domain and increase our support towards the countries.”
