NYNSHAMN, Sweden -- Teligent is pleased to announce today a substantial order from T-Com, Deutsche Telekom's fixed-network unit. The order is for an IN system across two locations in Germany. The delivery also includes a smaller capacity test system that mirrors the live system.

The delivery will provide T-Com with a nationwide, distributed and future proof IN service platform both for today and the next generation's IN services. It will replace the incumbent national IN system delivered by one of Teligent's competitors.

"These IN platforms complement the initial service development platform order that T-Com use to develop and modify new advanced network services," says Pekka Peltola, CEO and President of Teligent. "Now they will be able to run in-house developed services live in an updated IN network."

Teligent's deliveries are based on the patented middleware platform, Teligent P90/E, which separates network signalling, service execution and presentation to end-users. It is based on IP technology and adapted for use in a wide variety of networks, from traditional fixed and mobile networks to the emerging market of VoIP based next generation networks. The Teligent P90/E is used in various configurations by a large number of leading carriers in the international telecommunications market, including BT, Cingular, MCI, Telefnica, TeliaSonera and Vodafone.
