LJUBLJANA, Slovenia -- Today, Telekom Slovenia signed two contracts with the European Investment Bank on the loan of EUR 87 million altogether. The contracts cover two loans of EUR 61 million and EUR 26 million respectively which the bank awarded to Telekom Slovenia for the financing of the project of establishing mobile telephony in Kosovo.

The EUR 61 million loan is insured by a bank guarantee issued by Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich Ag as agent and Nova Ljubljanska banka, d.d. For the EUR 26 million loan, the EIB did not demand a commercial bank guarantee, it assumed the corporate risks itself on the basis of Telekom Slovenia credit standing.
