AsiaInfo to expand Beijing Mobile's operational CRM system

BEIJING and SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASIA), a leading provider of telecomsoftware solutions and IT security products and services, today announcedit has signed an agreement with Beijing Mobile to expand its OperationalCustomer Relationship Management (''OCRM'') system. This system, developedin 2004, was the first successful OCRM system deployed in China's telecomindustry.

"Beijing Mobile's online operational customer relationship managementsystem is a landmark system within China's telecom industry," said SteveZhang, AsiaInfo's President and CEO. "We have been involved in thedevelopment of Beijing Mobile's CRM system since its inception and we areexcited to have this opportunity to enhance their customer servicecapabilities with this expansion."

Mr. Zhang noted that as competition in China's telecom industrycontinues to intensify, CRM systems that can unify sales, services andmarketing processes have become increasingly important. AsiaInfo continuesto see strong opportunities to deliver their leading CRM solutions totelecom operators in China.

Prior to this agreement, AsiaInfo successfully partnered with BeijingMobile to develop Phase I, II and III of their CRM system. In 2004,AsiaInfo completed Phase I of Beijing Mobile's CRM system which unified thecall center and sales office customer data systems. In Phase II and PhaseIII, AsiaInfo integrated the CRM system to ensure seamless operation withBeijing Mobile's business operation support system. The current expansionwill increase the data processing capabilities of the OCRM system tosupport the rapid increase in user traffic and customer service demands.
