VIENNA, Va. -- Telarix, the leading provider of Interconnect Business Optimization software, and ASCOM Deutschland GmbH, one of Europe’s leading international solution suppliers, today announced a contract for the purchase and deployment of an innovative management and pre-billing system for International Carrier Sales & Solutions (ICSS), the carriers’ carrier division of T-Systems. This contract covers T-Systems’ international network. Telarix will be providing the software solution and ASCOM will be deploying and implementing the system. The iXTools software solution will be accessible worldwide via all of T-Systems’ points of presence.

Telarix’s iXTools is capable of processing up to 1.7 Billion call detail records (CDRs) per month. Additionally, iXTools’ distributed and scalable architecture can process 10 days of traffic in just one day. This enables a Tier-1 carrier to process traffic at a faster rate and increase network efficiencies within the organization by increasing visibility into the network and enabling intelligent decisions that can be made quickly.

“The combination of Telarix and ASCOM results in a powerful solution and seasoned team,” said Klaas Scheppink, Systems & Solutions Senior Business Consultant at ASCOM. “Working together, the Telarix and ASCOM team has developed quite an expertise working with T-Systems International and will continue to provide best practices throughout Europe.”

“iXTools enables us to react in real-time to market opportunities and increases the customer service we provide to our customers,” said Kevin Mulholland, Executive Vice President for the Americas, T-Systems, ICSS.

“This new contract is the result of the past successes over the last three years with ASCOM, Telarix and T-Systems,” said Amir Yazdanpanah, CEO of Telarix. “By placing the customers’ needs first, we’ve been able to deliver a product that is tailored to their needs and is able to be leveraged throughout the entire organization.”
