PARIS -- OneAccess, a provider of broadband access solutions for telecommunications carriers and corporate networks, today announced that T-Systems Siris, a subsidiary of T-Systems International in France and the second-largest alternative operator in France, will integrate the OneAccess One40 with its IP services portfolio for wide-scale use. The One40 solution provides T-Systems Siris corporate customers an alternative to Leased Line access services by using DSL technology to optimise operational costs. The solution is non-disruptive and enables use of existing Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), while maintaining the existing user environment applications. Using a standard serial interface, the One40 functions as a network adapter connecting user network traffic to the carrier network through an xDSL modem using an ATM 25.6 interface. It is ideal for carriers like T-Systems Siris who need to provide lower cost access service between corporate branch offices. “Given current market conditions, T-Systems Siris integration of the One40 is well-timed”, indicated Daniel Nguyen, vice-president of sales and marketing for OneAccess. “Carriers are looking for solutions to help customers reduce their operating costs. The One40 will help them achieve this objective, without disrupting the current user environment. The deployment of this solution is a key step toward delivery of broadband services to business customers.” T-Systems Inc.OneAccess
