Hughes Software Systems and Armillaire Technologies will set up a facility at Gurgaon

New Delhi -- Hughes Software Systems (HSS), India's #1 communications software company, and ARMILLAIRE Technologies Inc., USA, today announced the setting up of a Dedicated Development Facility (DDF) at Gurgaon for developing software for the next generation switching infrastructure. The DDF will develop software for the switching-product line of ARMILLAIRE (which includes a Local Switch, Gateway Switch and an ATM Packet Switch), with a roadmap to include built-in voice over internet protocol (VoIP) capabilities. ARMILLAIRE has been using some of HSS' products in building this Next Generation Switch. With this strategic relationship between HSS and ARMILLAIRE, ARMILLAIRE will be using HSS' VoIP and Third Generation Wireless products in its future evolutions.

Mr. Kwok Li, Chairman, ARMILLAIRE Technologies, on inaugurating the DDF, said," We are confident that this relationship will enable both our companies to take the lead in creating the next generation switching infrastructure."
