TAMPA, Fla. -- Switch and Data, a leading Internet exchange and managed infrastructure provider, today announced it has significantly increased its presence in four markets -- New York City 60 Hudson, a premier carrier hotel, Toronto, Buffalo, and Palo Alto, the world’s densest commercial Internet exchange.

Switch and Data will be quadrupling power and tripling space at its PAIX facility in Palo Alto. The expansion and investments in Toronto, Buffalo and New York City 60 Hudson will double the company’s presence in these markets. Build-out of the managed infrastructure will be completed in Buffalo and Toronto in Q1 with New York 60 Hudson and Palo Alto facilities to be completed in Q2 and Q3 2005, respectively.

”Switch and Data maintains an intense focus on organic growth, partnerships and strategic acquisitions,” says Keith Olsen, CEO of Switch and Data. “Market and customer growth is expanding, and we are meeting these demands with more space, more power and more resiliency.”
