MIAMI -- Supra Telecom® announced today that its plan to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy was approved by creditors and United States Bankruptcy Judge Robert A. Mark. Confirmation of the plan clears the way for Supra Telecom’s emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

CEO Russ Lambert commented, “This is a great win for our customers and all consumers. Our emergence from Chapter 11 and the additional investments planned by the new owner will insure continuity of operations and continued competition in local service telecommunications. The additional investments will also fuel the continued expansion of our network and the development of new products such as value priced broadband. We are thankful for the continued loyalty of our 250,000 customers and for the 1,100 Supra employees that stayed the course through this process.”
