Torbjörn Nilsson, head of Strategy & Product Management, replaced by Joakim Westh, head of Operational Excellence group

STOCKHOLM -- Torbjörn Nilsson, presently head of group function Strategy & Product Management, has decided to leave Ericsson. Torbjörn Nilsson will continue as a strategic advisor and consultant to the executive management on a 50% basis.

Carl-Henric Svanberg, CEO and President of Ericsson, said: "Torbjörn Nilsson has played an important role during a long period in Ericsson and has contributed largely to the company's success. We are pleased that we can continue to benefit from Torbjörn Nilsson's vast experience and deep knowledge of our industry".

Joakim Westh, head of group function Operational Excellence, will take over responsibility for strategy.
