Telus Picks Symmetricom

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Symmetricom today announced that Canadian telecommunications company TELUS has selected its time and frequency solutions for a network-wide synchronization upgrade. TELUS will equip over 250 offices throughout Canada to support next-generation services including IPTV, VoIP and 3G wireless. The upgrade will include Symmetricom’s TimeHub 5500 Synchronization Supply Unit; TimeProvider for network access synchronization; TimeSource 3000 Primary Reference Source; and Symmetricom’s synchronization network management system, TimePictra.
