PARIS -- Orange announces its international partnership programme, Orange Alliance. Through this programme the Group aims to leverage its best practices and experience in markets across the world to provide telecommunications operators located outside its footprint with the means to stimulate growth and address key challenges in their domestic markets. To achieve this, Orange will provide tailor-made services and support, and will offer access to Orange Group products, services and procurement activities as well as international roaming.
Orange Alliance: leveraging the Group's international presence and expertise
With operations in more than 30 countries, including in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Orange has developed the know-how and proficiency required to adapt to diverse ecosystems. This has resulted in specific product portfolios, systems and organisations that have been proof-tested in highly competitive markets.
Through Orange Alliance, operators benefit from a rapid means of gaining the know-how and experience necessary to effectively meet the specific challenges presented by their markets. The programme, which covers a broad range of services, provides partners with the resources to act independently while benefiting from the support of an international group. Based on a catalogue of services, best practices and expertise, operators can build their own programme according to their particular requirements. This modular approach covers:
The programme has already attracted considerable interest among operators. Both Vini, a French Polynesia-based operator, and ZonOptimus, a Portuguese operator, have signed up to Orange Alliance services. Further partners from other countries are currently in talks and expected to join the community in the coming months.
"Through the Orange Alliance programme, we hope to support the growth of third-party operators by providing them with access to high-value services based on the Group’s extensive experience and know-how as one of the world’s largest telecoms operators,” said Élie Girard, Senior Executive Vice President of Strategy & Development at Orange. “As it grows, the programme will form a community of operators that will benefit our development strategy and increase the visibility of Orange across the world.”
