The Future of OSS

8:00 AM -- Telecom software developments have never been so important to communications service providers, as they are now so inextricably linked to the service creation and delivery strategies of operators, as well as providing the day-to-day operational support that keeps the world's networks running.

That's why it's important for carrier executives to be up to speed on the latest developments in the software community, and to think about whether the current market players have got what it takes to meet their needs. All these issues are going to be debated in London on Wednesday, October 14, at OSS 2.0: Driving the Services Revolution, a one-day event that is FREE for service provider staff.

In addition to keynote addresses from BT Group plc (NYSE: BT; London: BTA) and Vodafone Group plc (NYSE: VOD) executives, the presentation of new market research findings from Heavy Reading analyst Caroline Chappell, and panel participation from TM Forum president Martin Creaner, the day's sessions will focus on topics such as: the implementation of OSS and BSS for next-generation services; preparing OSS and BSS platforms for the introduction and delivery of third-party applications (a very hot topic); the personalization of products and payments; customer experience challenges; and the restructuring of the OSS sector.

If you can make it to London for a day, this could be quite the eye-opener. See below for more details.
