Telcordia Still Sulking
There are signs that many things are changing in OSS-land, not least the greater influence of IT industry ways of thinking, something the telecom sector hasn't been so great at over the years.
But some things never change. Take Telcordia Technologies Inc. , for example. A full three-plus years after deciding it didn't like the way we write about it, Telcordia still hasn't rescinded its decision to stop talking to us (effectively, a media ban), and graciously declined our attempt to secure a meeting here in Nice.
That hasn't stopped us writing about the company, but it's kinda sad to see that while the OSS sector appears to have moved on in the past few years, Telcordia, it seems, has not.
