PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- With a firm handle on changing industry dynamics and in anticipation of changing operator needs, Telcordia (www.telcordia.com) has enhanced its Fulfillment Suite, which includes the newest releases of Telcordia(R) Granite Inventory and Telcordia(R) Expediter. Available today and already deployed at Tier 1 operators, the enhanced offering gives wireline, cable and wireless operators a flexible end-to-end solution for designing and provisioning new services - including those based on IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS).

"As networks converge and communications change there continues to be pressure to optimize the service fulfillment process," said Larry Goldman, founder and senior analyst of OSS Observer. "Companies like Telcordia that address these changes and offer flexible and robust solutions are best positioned to help operators manage the complex network issues as they roll-out advanced services that drive revenue."

"The new communications landscape requires faster and more flexible fulfillment processes to support a rich set of product and service offerings. Telcordia has invested significantly in creating a new Fulfillment Suite and in enhancing Granite Inventory to support a service-centric model that will enable operators to simultaneously grow revenues and lower costs by changing the fundamentals of service design and fulfillment," said Mike Henderson, President, Global Solutions, Telcordia. "This is just the latest example of how Telcordia continues to leapfrog the competition and lead the way by bringing innovative new approaches to market and helping operators thrive in today's changing communications market."

The Telcordia Fulfillment Suite includes the newest releases of Telcordia Granite Inventory, for provisioning, discovery and activation, and Telcordia Expediter, for order management. With this enhanced suite, operators can easily build complex service bundles and now have the tools necessary for end-to-end service design, resource management and lifecycle management. It simplifies the fulfillment process because operators can make a single change in service definition and flow that is then automatically funneled down to other support systems, instead of having to make multiple changes at each point in the process. This helps operators speed new services to market, better manage sophisticated services and seamlessly integrate existing systems, which results in increased network efficiencies and lower total cost of ownership.
