Openet Beefs Up Data Measurement

DUBLIN -- Openet, the leading provider of Transactional Intelligence for the world’s largest and most innovative network service providers, today announced the enhancement of its award-winning Audience and Engagement Measurement solution, which is now enabled by business intelligence and analytics capabilities. These capabilities are applications built on Openet’s Subscriber Data Management (SDM) solution architecture, announced earlier this week.
Unlike conventional ratings reports, Openet’s Audience and Engagement Measurement solution provides cable operators the ability to measure subscriber activities across all video services, including linear and non-linear viewing data and click-streams associated with interactive television (iTV) initiatives. The solution enables operators to collect, aggregate, enrich and distribute usage data and subscriber profile information in real time to deliver more personalized services and highly targeted marketing campaigns—translating user behavior into a one-to-one experience and resulting in additional revenue. This drives more targeted and profitable advertising and programming capabilities, and helps track subscriber activity across multiple screens.
The enhancements to the Audience and Engagement Measurement solution provide Openet’s multichannel video operator customers with both productized and custom business intelligence solutions, including data models, reporting development and data integration. Under the umbrella of the SDM architecture, audience measurement capabilities are extended across all systems within an operator network, meaning that subscriber data from disparate locations can be aggregated and unified for end-to-end visibility and maximum results.
“Openet’s Transactional Intelligence solutions are known for providing visibility and value to our operator customers,” said Mike Manzo, CMO for Openet. “In this fast-paced industry, actionable data is the key to staying competitive—and profitable. The robust business intelligence and analytics capabilities now built into our Audience and Engagement Measurement solution provides one-stop shopping for cable operators that need to capture, leverage and evaluate iTV events to create and optimize revenue streams.”
