AsiaInfo to upgrade China Mobile's Business Operation Support System in Zhejiang province

BEIJING and SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASIA - News), a leading provider of telecom software solutions and IT security products and services in China, today announced that it has signed a contract with Zhejiang Mobile, a subsidiary of China Mobile, to upgrade its Business Operation Support System (BOSS).

Under the terms of the contract, AsiaInfo will upgrade Zhejiang Mobile's BOSS system to comply with China Mobile's new BOSS 3.0 specifications, with an emphasis on strengthening channel management functionality and improving data consistency among the carrier's BOSS subsystems.
