data + big picture Vela's point about blending KPIs with domain experts was interesting and one that came up a lot at the conference. You can't understand all the data unless you also understand the bigger picture of what you are trying to do. The challenge, of course, is those silos he mentioned. It's good to see US Cellular, like Bell Mobility and others, moving forward with analytics and tackling the cultural, "people" problem as well.
