SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK -- Sybase iAnywhere today announced thatit will provide support for Apple iPhone within its Information Anywhere(R)suite. Information Anywhere will enable IT organizations to provide securedelivery of Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange enterprise email to iPhoneusers. Sybase's unique approach to providing enterprise support for theiPhone reduces potential security concerns while still providing a rich userexperience utilizing the native iPhone mail application.

Key advantages include:
Security: Information Anywhere's wireless email solution will give users access to the rich native email client provided on the iPhone without requiring an enterprise to enable IMAP in their Lotus Domino or Microsoft Exchange environments. This approach reduces potential security concerns with iPhone use in the enterprise. In addition, Information Anywhere equips IT with features to eliminate potential security risks, such as providing filtering of attachments.
Offline Email Access: Information Anywhere's support of the native iPhone client provides a feature rich and faster user experience than found with browser-based email support. In addition, email is available for offline use.
Personal Information Management (PIM) Data Support: Information Anywhere provides secure access to PIM data, including corporate directory look-up.
Multi-device Support: Information Anywhere addresses the demand corporations face to support a variety of mobile devices. Sybase iAnywhere currently supports more than 230 Windows Mobile, Symbian and Palm-based devices.

By the end of 2007, Sybase 365 will have processed over onebillion MMS messages since it launched the service in 2005.
According to the research firm M:Metrics, MMS messaging is most popular withyoung adults. From June through August 2007, 36 percent of consumers aged18-24 years, 27.2 percent of 13-17 year-olds, and 26.9 percent ofsubscribers aged 25-34 sent MMS messages.
