OULU, Finland -- NetHawk announces the receipt of significant LTE test system orders from a major NorthAmerican telecom infrastructure vendor. These shipments will further extend customer’sNetHawk EAST LTE load test simulation systems for eNodeB, EPC and LTE UE testing inmultiple international sites.
NetHawk is deploying its NetHawk EAST platform with ATCA blades and NPU processorunits. Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture (ATCA) hardware is a platform that offersscalability with ultimate performance and reliability. The Network Processing Unit (NPU) withspecialized co-processors for TCP, IPSec, encryption and compression improves protocolprocessing performance and offers even more capacity for heavy load testing.
