Trial CDMA/LTE deployment, gives rural users new connectivity options and showcases ZTE’s Global LTE Technology Leadership

RICHARDSON, Texas -- ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today announced that it has partnered with Commnet Wireless, one of the fastest growing regional operators, to help provide high speed broadband access and wireless connectivity to the largest rural network in the US. As part of the technical trial-implementation, Commnet Wireless will build an LTE network spanning parts of Arizona, New Mexico and Utah leveraging ZTE’s core dual-mode CDMA/LTE platform to meet the service requirements of roaming subscribers.

This cooperation between ZTE and Commnet Wireless in the CDMA/LTE market is a significant development in enabling faster data access and greater communication and connectivity for users based in rural parts of the country. The partnership also represents a further step towards ZTE’s strategic growth and leadership in the North American market.
