IRVINE, Calif. -- Simax Technologies today announced their company’s position to be an industry-leading manufacture and supplier of high-performance optical preforms, core rods, and cladding tubes for the telecommunication industry. By mastering the monophase Sol-Gel sub-nanometer material processing method, will give Simax the opportunity to pioneer the polymerization technology to its fullest potential. This technological break through enables Simax to produce the purest form of optical preforms, cladding tubes and core rods from derived silica for the telecommunication industry to draw high performance fibers. Our advance optical glass components will have higher level of homogeneity, wider transmission coverage, lower OH content, and lower concentration of metal impurities than the traditional sub-micrometer CVD material processing methods.

“Our vision is to polymerize advance optical materials and components for the telecommunication industry but our dream is to transform the ceramic and glass industry,” said Dr. Frank Wang, Simax’s co-founder and president. "The potential of this process is like climbing a mountain that no one has conquered before."
