LAS VEGAS -- TraceSpan(TM) Communications, a provider of broadband monitoring solutions, today announces the new VDSL Xpert(TM) multi-layer analyzer. Leveraging patent-pending technology, VDSL Xpert(TM) breaks new ground as the industry's only non-intrusive performance-analysis solution for VDSL2 products. VDSL Xpert(TM) accelerates time to market and return on investment by cutting significant time from the development, deployment, debugging and interoperability verification of VDSL equipment. TraceSpan will demonstrate the VDSL Xpert(TM) for the first time at TelecomNext Booth #2037, Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 20-22, 2006.

VDSL Xpert(TM) is an easy-to-use modular system designed for R&D and laboratory engineers engaged in the deployment of VDSL2 standard-compliant solutions. The innovative VDSL Xpert(TM) analyzer verifies the interoperability of VDSL2 products offered by different vendors, and compares the performance of any combination of CO (Central Office) and CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) modems. VDSL Xpert(TM) is a powerful solution for service providers (Telcos and CLECs), current and next-generation VDSL equipment manufacturers, and technology and chipset developers.

"We are proud to announce the launch of VDSL Xpert(TM) -- our vendor-independent solution for VDSL interoperability testing," said Dr. Hanan Herzberg, TraceSpan founder and CEO. "I am certain that the VDSL Xpert(TM) will follow the success and overwhelming acceptance of our ADSL analyzer, which received the 2005 Frost & Sullivan Product Innovation Award and is used currently worldwide by major carriers, modem and DSLAM makers and chip vendors. The VDSL Xpert is a PC-controlled hardware solution with a user-friendly GUI that presents multi-layer information in convenient displays. Using VDSL Xpert(TM), lab personnel can quickly and easily verify performance and compliance to standards of VDSL2 products, leading to rapid system deployment and quick return on investment."
