Sunrise Telecom launches SunSet MTT ACM II modular test set

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Sunrise Telecom(R)Incorporated (BULLETIN BOARD: SRTI.PK) , a leader in test and measurementsolutions for today's telecom, wireless and cable networks, launched SunSetMTT(R) ACM II modular test set, the only system to qualify the copper pairfor access networks and complete service verifications for a variety ofapplications in a single test set. Its ability to test outside plant copperpairs for multiple types of DSL -- VDSL2, ADSL2+, ADSL -- make it a crucialinstrument for deploying next-generation networks. The AMC II debuts thisweek at the OSP EXPO in Sunrise Telecom's Booth #414.

The ACM II equips the network service provider to effectively deploy today'striple play network with the following highlights:

  • Industry best range from voiceband to 30 MHz for VDSL2 for key measurements such as PSD noise and loss

  • Dual trace TDR, RFL, and DMM for cable fault identification and location

  • Standardized POTS tests common to industry methods and procedures, including longitudinal balance, power influence, and powerline harmonic analysis

  • The modular SunSet MTT ACM II allows customers to utilize the extensive library of MTT service modules addressing DSL, IPTV, Metro, and Transport applications.
