Verizon is restructuring to get ready for 5G. (See Verizon Restructures in Bid for 5G Growth.)

What does it all mean? Well, we tried to explain it but, like restructuring giant companies, that, too, is sometimes that's easier said than done.

"I think any operator and going into the 5G era that still talking about fixed services and mobile services instead of just services is doing itself a disservice," said Ray Le Maistre, Light Reading's Editor-in-Chief. "I should have had less coffee," he quickly added.
