STOCKHOLM -- Zenterio, a leading TV technology and services provider, has signed the HUAWEI Software Service Partner Program Agreement to further strengthen its collaborations with Huawei, the world’s largest system integrator and the market leader in the hybrid video business.

The Partner Program Agreement means that Zenterio and Huawei continue their collaboration and expand their current client SW business, so far focused on middleware, to now also include an OTT multiscreen client and EPGs in STBs.

Zenterio and Huawei have worked together since 2013, Zenterio OS is integrated with Huawei Hybrid Video (IPTV/OTT/DVB) back-end and the joint solution is now in commercial use in Europe and Latin America. This HUAWEI Software Service Partner Program Agreement will build on that success and further strengthen the collaboration between the two companies.

The new solution means that Zenterio’s JetUI will be pre-integrated with Huawei back-end and will support live TV, VoD, nPVR, OTT multiscreen client, EPGs in STBs as well as social sharing and recommendations on any device. The agreement means that the complete end-to-end system will be continuously updated to add more functionality and to make sure that it is at the forefront of what is commercially available. Huawei will put their focus and efforts into providing an open back-end system and let partners like Zenterio concentrate on the client software and UI side of the business, to make sure that the operators can enjoy the combined benefits of both.
