Vodafone Americas today confirmed its continued investment and expansion in the region with a focus on delivering total communications solutions to Vodafone’s more than 400 multinational (MNC) customers based in the United States and a further 500 Vodafone MNC customers that are based outside the United States but have a strong US presence.

The company will soon open a Customer Experience Center (CEC) as part of its expansion in New York City. Multinational businesses will be able to explore Vodafone’s total communications solutions comprising wireline and mobility offerings, machine-to-machine services and more, in a fully immersive, high-tech and high-touch environment. Vodafone will use the 3,100 square foot facility to provide business customers with first-hand access to current and future products as well as to better understand their global communications needs.

Vodafone Americas also continues to extend its MPLS-based IP-VPN global network, which is one of the most advanced in the world, by deploying dozens of new points of presences (PoPs) throughout the region. These PoPs are available to customers today and have been selected for their proximity to Vodafone’s major enterprise customer sites, high-density populations and data center locations including New York, Boston, Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Toronto. Reflecting Vodafone’s strength globally serving large enterprise customers, businesses are now looking to Vodafone Americas to serve their needs locally.

Vodafone Global Enterprise President of the Americas region, Chuck Pol, said: “Our rapidly growing team in the Americas is focused on meeting the wireline and wireless demands of complex multinational businesses with operations in the US. This next fiscal year is a pivot point for our regional Vodafone Global Enterprise business as we rollout new wireless services later this year and continue to provide a full range of IP-based data, video and voice services."
