Digital Lightwave NIC Platform supports 1.5M/2M to 100G testing in a single chassis
September 8, 2011
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Digital Lightwave, Inc. today announced that the NIC Platform can be equipped as a single-chassis test solution from 1.5Mbps/2Mbps to 100Gbps/103Gbps/112Gbps in a single NIC Plus portable or NIC EP rackmount. The recently announced CSA 4100 module, with CFP-based multi-lane 40G and 100G capabilities, enables the NIC to provide testing at today's highest network rates while maintaining all lower-speed testing capabilities. The CSA supports multilane Ethernet 41G and 103G, OTN 43G (OTL-3.4) and 112G (OTL-4.10), and SONET/SDH 40G (STL-256.4). The NIC also features license-based "Test Options" allowing users to add test capabilities as needed.
"At Digital Lightwave, we never stand still but we never venture too far from our roots either," said Doyle Mills, Director of Product Marketing. "While we have all-new modules with more testing capabilities than ever before, we have maintained the same logical industry-leading, easy-to-use GUI. We continue to protect our customers' historical investment in their DLI product portfolio. An example of that versatility is that existing 5-slot NICs can be upgraded with any of the new modules, including the new CSA 4100 for testing all the way up to 112Gbps. Once again we've proven to be the industry's most cost-effective testing solution."
