LONDON -- UK internet telephony provider Inclarity has launched a new version of its successful Phone Manager. The new release enhances the user’s experience through features including click-to-dial, an extended contact list and users’ call details delivered through an improved GUI (Graphical User Interface).

Inclarity’s Phone Manager is a web-based user interface that allows management and control of the user’s Broadband Telephony extension and builds on existing offerings by delivering expanded call management, simplified navigation and wider dialling options. The new Phone Manager release will provide opportunities to cut business overheads and also further enable flexible working. Inclarity’s recent research estimates that UK small businesses could save more than £1billion a year through using internet protocol (IP) telephony over traditional systems.

New features include:

  • Extended Contact List: including business, friends and family or shared contact lists with import and export facilities to MS Outlook

  • Call History: a user can now view placed, missed and received calls online, regardless of position to the handset

  • Click to Dial: a user can now automatically dial a user from either the contact lists or call history

  • Improved Graphic User Interface (GUI): easy to view and control

“Businesses and public sector organisations across the country are recognising the benefits of IP telephony as it enables them to better manage their telecoms overheads and empowers staff to work remotely and enjoy the benefits of flexible working,” said Paul Anthony Beaumont, Chief Operations Officer for Inclarity. “Users want a simple Voice over IP option, so the added functionality to Inclarity’s Phone Manager will make switching to IP telephony even easier.”
