Comcast Puts VOIP in Houston

HOUSTON -- Comcast, Houston's newest provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, today marked another major milestone as it continues its transition from Time Warner Cable with the launch of Comcast High-Speed Internet and Comcast Digital Voice in the region.

With Comcast High-Speed Internet and Comcast Digital Voice available locally, residents can now sign up for the company's multi-product bundle promotions, including the popular Triple Play of digital cable, high-speed Internet and phone services. The Triple Play enables new customers to subscribe to all three products for $33 each a month for one year when they sign up for all three. In addition to the many product benefits and significant savings, the Triple Play delivers one bill, one point of contact for customer service and one installation visit to the home.

"We're excited to enter the next phase of our transition by bringing the full suite of Comcast products to Greater Houston," said Tony Speller, Senior Vice President of Comcast's Houston Region. "The Triple Play really unleashes the full power of the Comcast network and I am confident that Houston-area consumers will enjoy the high-quality services and monthly savings that bundling our services offers. As Comcast continues to lead the way in delivering the communications services of the future, our local team in Houston has done the work to ensure that Comcast customers here can stay on the cutting edge."
