Networking forum chooses Swedish carrier for global IP backbone

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- TeliaSonera International Carrier has announced that they have been selected as an authorized Quilt provider for delivery of global IP transit services. The members of The Quilt now have the opportunity to connect to one of world’s fastest growing IP backbones.

“TeliaSonera International Carrier was selected to be an authorized Quilt provider based on the quality of its global IP backbone, solid finances and strong focus on customer service”, said Jen Leasure, President and CEO, The Quilt. “The excellent reputation that TeliaSonera International Carrier has with other National Research and Education Networks across Europe was also a very important factor”.

The Quilt members will now be able to use the TeliaSonera International Carrier IP network.
