BERNE, Switzerland -- Swisscom is further expanding its service offering for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Business Service Teams (BST) come to customers' premises and offer direct on-site support on any computer-related questions they may have. The service is only billed if the customer is satisfied with the support that they receive.

F! or many SMEs, a fully functioning IT infrastructure is one of the most important requirements for corporate success. However, for cost reasons, smaller companies tend not to employ a designated IT specialist. This is why Swisscom is expanding its range of support services for SMEs with a service offering that fills this gap. Following the opening of the SME Competence Centre in Lucerne in May 2009, the Business Service Team (BST) pilot project is kicking off on 16 July 2009.
