GLASGOW, U.K. -- THUS plc announces that its contract with Sky, for the existing Carrier Pre-Selection (CPS) service supporting the SkyTalk service, has been extended to March 2009.

THUS has been carrying calls for the Sky Talk service since 2001 and the current contract has now been extended to the end of March 2009, in order to facilitate an orderly migration to Sky’s new wholesale calls carrier. This planned measure has been taken to safeguard the risk of service interruption for Sky Talk’s 1.1 million customers as they are moved in managed stages between providers over the coming months.

THUS has enjoyed a long relationship dating back to 2000 and worked closely with Sky to deliver a number of UK firsts such as the delivery of the Sky Interactive red button service which we still provide to Sky today. THUS looks forward to continuing its working relationship with Sky.
