SINGAPORE -- ZTE Corporation, a global leading telecommunication equipment supplier, and Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel), Asia's leading communications group, announced today that they have entered into a supply-agreement for the supply, installation, test, commission and maintenance of ZTE's Colour Ring Back Tone (CRBT) system.

The new ZTE CRBT system is based on ZTE's award-winning IN switch-based solution which enables the capacity to increase many times over in comparison to switch node. In addition, the new CRBT system provides enhanced features like Corporate Ring Tone and Music Station, where a collection of tones that change monthly is offered by Content Providers at a special price. An additional feature is the 'Copy' function where users can copy tones from another mobile phone without having to know their titles. These features allow SingTel to expand its customer base and differentiate its services in an already highly mature and competitive market.
