Translation... Google translate or the like would have been extremely useful so that the conversation could flow more easily.  Also, hand sanitizer for those nasty foreign germs.

Re: Translation... Too literal Dan...let's say that it uses artificial intelligence. It gobbles up the language, digests it, and then when asked gives out pithy translations that are easy to digest.

It takes up valuable kitchen worktop real estate but... They could have done with a decent smoothie-maker into which they could dump all their leftover gooseberries, mussels and corn mush. Makes a delicious -- and nourishing -- pick-me-up. Yum!
