LONDON -- SpinVox Ltd, the world’s first voice to text conversion service for mobile and landline phones, has increased its global presence by appointing Tom Clear as President of SpinVox Inc., the company’s operation in the Americas. Clear will be responsible for launching SpinVox and driving product sales throughout North and South America.

Before joining SpinVox, Clear held crucial roles at leading telecommunications companies and has extensive experience of establishing a presence in international markets. He successfully took Cincinnati Bell Information Systems into Asia, where he led the development, recruitment and growth of the company, winning profitable contracts with large carriers such as PLDT, NTT and Telecom Australia. Recently, he was a VP and General Manager for Amdocs where he won and managed several million-dollar engagements with Tier 1 and 2 carriers. Clear will manage SpinVox’s US operations from Atlanta, Georgia.

Christina Domecq, Spinvox CEO commented “Tom has strong selling skills and during his career he has successfully managed international offices in foreign markets. His strong contacts among the leading carriers in North America will enable SpinVox to rapidly infiltrate the US market.”

“We recently introduced a new Spanish-language service and SpinVox is now able to offer our high-levels of accuracy and customer service in both English and Spanish. This will be critical in the USA where we can help people communicate simply and quickly.”
