HOLMDEL, N.J. -- uReach Technologies (www.ureachtech.com), a leading provider of converged communication solutions for fixed-line, mobile, and broadband service providers, today announced it's Converged Service Framework has been successfully deployed with SaskTel, the leading full service communications company in Saskatchewan . This deployment marks the end of a legacy messaging transition for SaskTel that began in early 2005.

The uReach Technologies solution will power wireline, wireless and VoIP voice messaging services for SaskTel customers. It will also enable SaskTel to leverage a single, network agnostic framework, to develop new next generation services and bring them to market quickly and economically.

"When we set out to replace our legacy voice messaging infrastructure, we sought a vendor that could deliver an evolutionary solution that would adapt to our needs over time," said Robert Watson, President and CEO of SaskTel, "uReach Technologies was the only vendor that could deliver the application functionality SaskTel required while meeting the technical challenge of aligning with SaskTel's Network Evolution Vision from a single, converged, infrastructure."

Leveraging a standard-based software architecture running on open systems, uReach's Converged Services Framework (CSF) was designed from the ground up to meet service providers' stringent requirements for reliability and availability, while remaining cost-effective to deploy and operate. uReach further differentiates itself by offering both a turn-key managed service and fully-licensed solution for service providers.

"SaskTel's successful deployment is incredibly gratifying," said Krishnamurty Kambhampati, CEO and co-founder of uReach Technologies. "Working together, SaskTel and uReach have consistently demonstrated leadership and an ability to innovate in the marketplace. We're very proud that SaskTel has relied on our technical expertise and application strength to help make messaging convergence a reality for their customers."
