GENEVA -- M6 Web, the interactive subsidiary of Métropole Télévision and Echovox, a European MobileMultimedia leader create a Joint Venture: Echo6

Echo6's goal is to become a major player in the French mobile multimedia market taking advantagefrom synergies created by its two shareholders.

This joint venture has 3 core missions:
1. Innovate in TV - Mobile Interactivity;
2. Develop mobile entertainment products and services for the M6 group;
3. Extend these activities to other companies in need of mobile multimedia solutions (media agencies, advertisers, right owners, operators).

Echo6's creation marks an important step in mobile services developped by M6 Web in an increasingly convergent environment between medias, mobile multimedia services and the development of a direct relationship with TV viewers.

Echo6 also enables Echovox to penetrate the French market leveraging M6 Group's experience in mobile multimedia, especially in the youth market segment.

The founding of Echo6 coincides with a booming French mobile multimedia market. Over 13 millionmobile subscribers are mobile multimedia consumers (source: Arcep) on a market estimated at over300 million Euros in 2005 and that is set to double by 2010.
