9:50 AM -- Hulu LLC could begin offering its new subscription plan, Hulu Plus, to a select group of people as early as next week, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Hulu Plus, which will reportedly cost $9.95 per month and offer users a more extensive catalogue than the free version of Hulu, will initially test with 10,000 users, AllThingsD's Peter Kafka says.

One big possible advantage to Hulu Plus: According to Kafka and a report from Bloomberg, Hulu Plus will offer users to the ability to watch it on devices such as the Apple iPad, Microsoft's Xbox 360, and Sony's Playstation 3. At the moment, Hulu can only be viewed on computers.

Bloomberg also reported that Hulu is in talks with CBS, Viacom, and Time Warner to add their shows to Hulu Plus.
