Facebook 'Missed the Mark'

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg addressed users' privacy concerns and promised simpler privacy settings "in the coming weeks," in a column that appeared in .
The Washington Post today
"Our intention was to give you lots of granular controls; but that may not have been what many of you wanted. We just missed the mark," Zuckerberg wrote.
However, many have pointed out that the column -- which reads like standard Facebook PR -- lacks any new information or actual apology.
At least poor Zuck has Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and blogger Robert Scoble to defend him.

Internet retailer 6pm.com, owned by Internet retailer Zappos, accidentally screwed up its pricing on Friday, resulting in a loss of $1.6 million. The site says it will still honor all of the sales made during this time.
