MILPITAS, Calif. -- ServGate Technologies, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance Internet Security Gateways, announced that it has appointed Larry Lessler as Vice President of Finance and Larry Schiro as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations. Larry Lessler has an extensive background and proven track record in building cohesive administrative infrastructures for companies such as Apple Computer, Pacific Data Images, Virtual Visits, Broadchoice and Third Millennium Online Products. At Third Millennium, Lessler held the position of Chief Financial Officer where he was responsible for the financial operations of the organization as well as advertising, customer service and human resource departments. Lessler will be responsible for ServGate's financial and administrative activities, including accounting, legal and human resources. Larry Schiro brings over fifteen years of high volume material, new production introduction and manufacturing experience to ServGate. Schiro has worked with companies such as Global Brand Manufacturing, Inc. (GBM), Diamond Multimedia, International Business Machines Corporation and Conner Peripherals Corporation. At GBM, where Schiro held the position of Sr. VP Operations, he helped develop a major contract manufacturing facility in China and set up procurement operations and controls for high volume production that resulted in ten million dollars in cost avoidance. Schiro will be responsible for ServGate's manufacturing operations, which include materials management, global manufacturing and logistics.
