Oplink Names CFO

FREMONT, Calif. -- Oplink Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPLK), a leading photonic components, intelligent modules, and subsystems solution provider, today announced that it has named Shirley Yin, 39, Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Shirley was named Vice President Finance and Acting CFO on June 21, 2007. She has spent the last five years as Controller at Oplink, where she was responsible for all aspects of reporting and managing financial operations. Prior to joining Oplink, Shirley spent several years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She received a Bachelor of Economics in Business Management from Zhongshan University in China and an M.S. in Accountancy from the University of Southern California. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
